  • February- AustinBDA & ABDS host the Black History Month

  • April- AustinBDA arrived their 1st anniversary years.

  • July- AustinBDA host the garbage Sale yard @ Austin Deaf Club.

  • August- AustinBDA became an official new 35th chapter under National Black Deaf Advocates.

  • October- AustinBDA host their first Cook Out event.

2016 Officers (FROM RIGHT TO LEFT): BDU Representative Roy Jones, Treasurer Delanda Dockins, Secretary Melissa Garrison, Vice President Cal Balogun, and President Aminah Savannah.

  • Februrary- AustinBDA host the Black History Month

  • April- AustinBDA arrived their 2nd anniversary years.

  • May- Original Administration has come to an end, AustinBDA welcomes the new officers.

  • September- AustinBDA host their second Cook Out event.

  • October- AustinBDA welcome their new President, Roy Jones & Vice President, Krishun Rhone.

  • October- AustinBDA host the Kids Halloween Party @ Austin Deaf Club.

  • December- AustinBDA Host Ugly Sweater Party @ Austin Deaf Club.

  • MARCH- AustinBDA host the Mardi Gras Party @ Austin Deaf Club.

  • December- AustinBDA become inactive due to to not in compliance w/ Secretary of State.
